Cross-country skiing trail Flims Conn

This varied route takes you through the magical Flims large forest and to the "Grand Canyon of Switzerland." With nine kilometers in length and just under 180 meters of elevation gain, this is a medium-difficulty route for which you should plan about one to three hours in total. Those who want it even more challenging take the trail at the Conn / Prau la Selva junction to the Prau la Selva sports center and back (total 8 km). After that, continue on the trail to Conn and back to Flims Waldhaus.

The starting point is the Flims cross-country skiing center, which you can easily reach by car or post bus. From there you glide over the meadows of Rens and get breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountain world of Graubünden. Soon you will enter the Flims large forest, where a magical winter landscape of impressive boulders, firs, and beeches awaits you. On the Conn forest clearing, you can stop at the restaurant of the same name and warm up. From here, you have a breathtaking view of the 14-kilometer-long Rhine Gorge. I also recommend a detour on foot to the "il Spir" viewpoint. Winding trails then lead you back uphill and to your starting point.
