Cross-country skiing trail Isla Valley Seewis

After a short descent towards Motschna and a gentle climb along the Isla stream and the winter hiking trail to Malfüa and Lischgaz, you reach the beautiful Islaried after the warm-up round. After a short and steep climb near Valbraga, you reach the loop on the plateau by the lake. 

The Seewis spa association provides a heated changing room and toilets at the Wimmisana parking lot by the shooting range hut. With a voluntary contribution to the trail fund, you support the trail maintenance in Seewis: CHF 5 per day (box in the container) or CHF 30 for the whole season (bank transfer to Raiffeisenbank Prättigau-Davos (70-6222-0) payable to Kur- und Verkehrsverein Seewis, 7212 Seewis Dorf – IBAN CH98 8108 4000 0080 4000 2) with name and address. Dogs that do not disturb or hinder other cross-country skiers, do not run on the track, and do not leave unsightly markings (if they do, proper disposal is required) are allowed on the trail.

On the plateau by the lake, you can make technically easy rounds in the winter sun. The Islaried offers a unique and almost mystical atmosphere depending on the weather and lighting. Places to eat in the village include the Restaurant Schlössli in the Hotel Scesaplana (with sun terrace), Dorfbeiz Chesa, Hofbeizli Runggalina (with sun terrace), and Restaurant Kurhaus (with sun terrace).
