Beschreibung

We start relaxed at Oberalppass – first on the pass road, then on a newly developed singletrail. At Alp Milez, we switch to a quiet, car-free road that leads us into the impressive Val Curnera.

Between rugged rocks lies the treasure chamber of the local miners. Blasting is part of the job – so don't be startled if you hear some noise.

After the descent to Tschamut, we continue directly to the chapel and then down a singletrail to the Selva golf course – the first golf course on the Rhine.

Through the beautiful forest at Plaun Miez, the path takes us to Plaun da Pors and further to the Lag da Claus bathing lake in Surrein – the perfect ending for the route and ideal for a refreshing cooldown.

Geheimtipp

Bring swim trunks. The water of the Lag da Claus bathing lake is just the right temperature.

The restaurant at the golf course in Selva is open from mid-May to mid-October.

Sicherheitshinweis

At the start at Oberalppass we stay on the pass road for the first 500 meters, as the hiking trail towards Tomasee is very busy.

Wegbeschreibung

We ride the first 500 meters downhill on the pass road, then switch to a singletrail to Alp Milez. Once the road is reached, we follow it to the distinctive bend above Tschamut. Then follows a singletrail down to the Rhine, which we cross. On the opposite side, we climb up to Tschamut and after a few meters on the pass road, we follow the hiking trail to the right, down to the golf course. Before the village, we turn right and cross the Rhine again. After the forest, we reach a road again at Plaun Miez. Then follows an ascent to another junction to the left onto a singletrail to Surrein. In Surrein, we pass the chapel and go through the village. The bathing lake is on the right side. The last ascent to Sedrun leads on a low-traffic road.
