Das Chüacalanda ist nach langen felsigen Streckenabschnitten sanfter zu laufen.

The imposing mountain ridges above the Madrisa area are among the most romantically wild views that Davos Klosters has to offer. The Madrisa Trail also leads over them.

Beschreibung

This trail run leads clockwise over the Madrisa ridges, allowing you to enjoy the view longer on the way up, before rushing down over the green meadows of Chüacalanda back to the Madrisa cable car. Leaving the Madrisa area towards Chlei Fürggli, the flowing single trail gradually becomes rockier and after crossing the Geisshorn and the Bockhorn, past the Saaser Calanda towards Rätschenhorn, one might think they are running on the moon if it weren't for the green mountains all around. The first 100 meters downhill lead back to softer ground, but it's better not to be deceived: the path down from the Rätschapass is quite steep. After descending below 2300 meters above sea level, the path gently continues to Obersäss and from there the last kilometers run parallel to the ski lifts back to the cable car.

Geheimtipp

Need some energy after the run? Two restaurants at the Madrisa mountain station await your visit with hearty delicacies!
