Beschreibung

The tour starts comfortably in Bad Ragaz through the Giessenpark and along the Rhine into the Fläscher vineyards. Enjoy the first glimpses of the Rhine Valley and the passage through the wine-growing village of Fläsch, which was awarded the Wakker Prize in 2010 and forms the entrance gate to the Bündner Herrschaft. After a short climb you will reach Heididorf - The Original. The "Dörfli" from Johanna Spyri's world-famous novel welcomes you on an emotional journey through time into the Swiss mountains of the 19th century. Via the Heidi Adventure Trail, on which the Heidi story is told with 12 stations, the path climbs leisurely to heidialp, with a wonderful view of the Chur Rhine Valley and the Seez Valley. With a shot, the return journey leads again over the Heidi adventure trail to the historic town of Maienfeld and past beautiful patrician houses over the Rhine back to the starting point in Bad Ragaz.

Geheimtipp

In memory of the writer Johanna Spyri, the Heidi Fountain was created in Maienfeld in 1953, which invites you to take a souvenir photo.

Ausrüstung

Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a longer ascent is followed by an equally long descent.

Bad Ragaz can be reached by public transport in just over an hour from St. Gallen and Zurich. The train station is a 15-minute walk from the Tamina Therme. The Postbus stops directly in front of the Tamina Therme.

The Tamina Therme Bad Ragaz are only an hour's drive from St. Gallen and Zurich and 30 minutes from Feldkirch. Use the motorway exit Maienfeld and follow the signs or Google Maps: Tamina Therme on Google Maps .
