E-Bike tour to Chapfensee (39km, 4h)
The Chapfensee E-Bike & Hike tour starts in Bad Ragaz and passes the Freudenberg castle ruins (one of the largest castle complexes in the Sarganserland) with a beautiful view into the Rhine and Seez valleys towards Vilterserberg. After a short descent to Mels, the route climbs from Mels towards Chapfensee. Soon the day's destination is reached. The descent passes more moorlands to Plons. From here, relax and roll back to Bad Ragaz. The route goes via the railway path to Sargans. From there, over the Rhine dam, the last kilometers to Bad Ragaz must be covered.

Chapfensee circular hike (2.8km, 1h)
Once the e-bikes are parked at the Chapfensee parking lot, a leisurely walk begins around the picturesque reservoir. A pause with a picnic is worthwhile. After resting and relaxing, it's back on two wheels.

You can reach Bad Ragaz by public transport in about one hour from St. Gallen and Zurich. The train station is a 15-minute walk from the Tamina Thermal Baths. The post bus stops directly in front of the Tamina Thermal Baths.

Anreise Information

The Tamina Thermal Baths Bad Ragaz are only a one-hour drive from St. Gallen and Zurich and 30 minutes from Feldkirch. Use the Maienfeld motorway exit and follow the signs.
