Beschreibung
From Litzirüti, head southeast along the old path by the stream to the Eggelti and further to Dörfji (1658 m above sea level), the first Walser settlement of St. Antönien, which today encompasses three small buildings. At Dörfji, cross the stream and climb towards the legendary Schlangenstein, then at the forest edge turn right and ascend. Heading southwest, you reach the Jenazer Alp (Säss) at 1941 m. From this herders' hut, the route goes south towards point 2204. The summit of Eggberg is reached via the ridge. The descent into the Gafiental follows the ascent route.
Attention! The slopes towards St. Antönien must not be used - this is the Wildruhezone Eggberg-Ischa. Thank you for respecting the nature!
Geheimtipp
With excellent slush snow conditions, the descent towards Ascherina is worthwhile (pay attention to wildlife protection zones).

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
By the Rhaetian Railway RhB to Schiers or Küblis and by post bus to St. Antönien Rüti or Platz. (timetable 90.218 or 90.222) From St. Antönien Platz about 20 minutes on foot along the mountain road to Rüti.
Anreise Information
Via the A13 and the N28 to Küblis, then follow Luzeinerstrasse to Pany / St. Antönien.
Parken
All parking lots in St. Antönien are subject to a fee. Payment can be made at the parking lots with cash, the Parkingpay app, Easy-Park or Twint. The last parking lot (P5) is located at St. Antönien Rüti.
