Another cultural jewel of the municipality is Jachen Könz, an artist from Guarda, who enriched the diverse streets of Tschlin with sgraffiti with his art. Despite these artistic highlights, many houses in the community are empty, which indicates a change in the population structure and poses a particular challenge. Many of the historic buildings had to be restored over time. Around 70 years ago, a local construction company in Tschlin launched an initiative to revitalise old houses in new splendour. Almost every house underwent a careful renovation. The company was also inspired by ideas from the Upper Engadine and created unique sgraffiti that adorn the facades.

Pubs and restaurants

In the past, the municipality of Tschlin was the proud owner of three inns and three shops and shops that enriched local life. In the Chasa Tschlin, activities are once again increasingly integrated with the Ustaria and it is to become the cultural center of the village again. In the midst of art, music, restored houses and living history, the village of Tschlin aims to revive tradition and history and become an important place of music and culture.
