fANNtastic vibes "Mountain Son" in Waltensburg

Internationally touring artist Mountain Son is an independent singer-songwriter and producer. He has released three solo albums, as well as four albums with his bluegrass band The Muddy Souls, and has played nearly 500 concerts. He shared the stage with artists such as Willie Watson, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Hot Buttered Rum, Pert Near Sandstone and Jackie Greene. In September 2025, he will return to the EU for his third European tour. His sound, shaped by the sounds of a resonator guitar and the deep tradition of American roots music, reflects two decades of experience as a songwriter and performer.

Inspired by country blues legends such as Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Fred McDowell, R.L. Burnside, Elizabeth Cotten, and Mississippi John Hurt, Mountain Son blends artful fingerpicking and slide guitar playing with sophisticated songwriting artistry to create a timeless and unique sound.
