For some years now, the beaver has been settling again in areas of the Hinterrhein. The crepuscular/nocturnal animals can only be observed with a lot of calm, patience and luck, but their tracks are unmistakable. On this varied hike (6.8 km) on beautiful forest paths along the Hinterrhein you will learn interesting facts about the largest European rodents. The rare and sensitive floodplain landscapes are not only home to beavers, but also to rare birds. Amphibians and insects cavort in the small, hidden pools. Let's be surprised what we encounter!
