Beschreibung

From the sun-drenched mountain village Feldis, the path leads via Plaun Ground and the Feldis Alp to the small mountain lake Leg Palus. The view into the Chur Rhine Valley and the mountain world with Tödi, Calanda Massif, and Ringelspitze is magnificent. But a look into the meadows is also worthwhile because the alpine flora here is particularly rich in treasures. The destination and turning point of the hike is the Dreibündenstein (2,160 m above sea level). The Dreibündenstein marks the only common border point of the former three Rhaetian leagues which existed until 1798. The original boundary stone from 1722 is now in the Rhaetian Museum in Chur. In 1915, it was replaced by a two-meter-high obelisk by the Rätia section of the Swiss Alpine Club. Around the striking stone, one can rest wonderfully and enjoy the mountain world. The panorama stretches from the mountains over Arosa and Lenzerheide to the UNESCO World Heritage Tektonikarena Sardona. Via Term Bell and Culm Ault, the path goes to Alp dil Plaun and then with views into the Domleschg, to Heinzenberg and the mighty Piz Beverin past the ski hut back to Feldis.

During the operating times of the Feldis – Mutta chairlift, the Dreibündenstein hike can be shortened with a chairlift ride. Also: The ascent with the aerial cable car Rhäzüns - Feldis high above the Rhine meadows of Rhäzüns is considered a insider tip.
