Beschreibung
The original mountain hut 'Valcaus' was rebuilt to a small and cosy mountain inn. It is open from May to October from Thursdays to Sundays between 8 o'clock am to 6 o'clock pm. Hikers, cyclists and nature-lovers are welcome to have a rest in a cosy and personal atmosphere. On the menu you will find different products from the region such as cheese from the alps of Seewis, dried sausage of venison, homemade barley-soup as well as the delicious cake with jam and nuts made in Fideris.
The panoramic view is unique: you can admire 75 mountains. Just as impressive is the alpine flora with hundreds of narcissus and gentians from May to June.
Geheimtipp
There is a possibility to hire a scooter to get back to Seewis. This is big fun for everybody and it saves time. A reservation of the scooters is recommended.
