From wool to dress

Various parts of the plant such as leaves, petals, berries, roots or sometimes tree bark can be used to dye the wool. After the wool has been naturally stained and cooked with the plant parts, it is placed in the sun for a few weeks. After rinsing, the wool can be carded, spun, twisted, knitted and woven.
