Beschreibung

From the PostBus stop Ftan, cumün you go through the village to the adjacent district Ftan Pitschen. At the eastern end of the village the prepared winter hiking trail then continues east along the snow-covered, open southern slope. Here there is a wide view of the opposite Lower Engadine Dolomites and the castle Tarasp proudly perched on the castle hill. After crossing the Val Corgnanca, the path follows the edge of a small forest (warning wildlife protection area – please do not leave the paths) with views of the Inn and the snow-covered mountains. Up to here, the path is mostly flat, with short steeper sections. Before crossing the ski slope, you can either take the shortcut directly to the valley station a bit along the slope and the alpine road or the less steep path into the old Scuol village district “Vi”.

Geheimtipp

This winter hiking trail is also popular as a sledding route.
