Lake Tour

Lake Poschiavo is a natural basin at 962 meters above sea level, about 2.5 km long north/south and one kilometer wide. The Poschiavino river is the point of inflow and outflow of the lake, up to 80 meters deep. The Rhaetian Railway route, a UNESCO World Heritage, runs along the western shore.

The circular route of about seven kilometers around the lake can be completed in just under two hours. It is an easy and pleasant hike, also suitable for children.

The walk starts at Le Prese. From here, you follow the railway on the right side of the lake towards Miralago. After reaching Miralago, the walk continues on the left side of the lake, immersed in nature and in the shade of the forest, back to Le Prese.

On Lake Poschiavo operates the largest passenger ship in the Canton of Grisons. The “Sassalbo” has been in service since 2016 and is available for private and corporate events.
