Glüna Plaina is Romansh for "full moon". On full moon nights, when the lunar light is brightest, the Diavolezza cable car operates at night. The slope is freshly groomed and is illuminated only by the light of the full moon. Piz Palü appears dark and majestic, and the snowfields glitter in the moonlight. The atmosphere on these nights is truly special, and the night air is so fresh - Glüna Plaina is an unforgettable experience.
