This magnificent gravel tour starts in Vella, the main town in Lumnezia. Stables that defy wind and weather, pretty mountain huts and small villages make you forget the effort. There are always three locals on this ride: Piz Terri, Péz Regina and Piz Ault. They have always demanded toll in the form of beads of sweat.

Beschreibung

This Val Lumnezia tour is no relaxed roll-in, because right from the start the route leads in one direction only. Upwards! But with every turn of the pedals, the mountain peak gets closer. And once you reach the culmination point of the ride, the exertions are quickly forgotten.

After the strenuous ascent on the sunny side of the Lumnezia, the long descent follows and the change to the opposite side of the valley. The route leads through the dreamy settlements of Surin and Silgin. The roads are now partly gravel and will make your gravel heart beat faster.

Finally, there is another ascent to the starting point. But with the destination in sight, Vella is reached in no time.

Geheimtipp

-It's worth getting up early in summer, because the first ascent is completely exposed to the sun.

-The tour is also fun in the opposite direction.

-You can treat yourself to a highlight before Silgin: Ride over the technically not too difficult single trail and take in the impressive suspension bridge.

Sicherheitshinweis

The tour should not be undertaken in uncertain weather conditions. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a rain front or similar is approaching during the hike, you should turn back in good time.
