Starting at the rocksresort in Laax, the route goes through the Flimserwald via "La Mutta" past the viewpoint "Il Spir" and down at Ransun into the Rhine Gorge. Along the Rhine, it goes upstream through the impressive gorge to the Valendas-Sagogn station, from where it goes steeply uphill again towards Laax.

Beschreibung
An endurance route that offers a lot of variety both in terms of landscape and trails. Singletrails, forest road, riverside path and very little asphalt. This route has a long season due to the lower altitudes and southern exposures. The refreshment options in the train station restaurants Versam-Safien and Valendas-Sagogn can make the route even nicer. If it does not go as expected, you can easily switch to public transport.
Geheimtipp
The trail along the Rhine Gorge in the Flimserwald offers one or the other sensational view into the gorge. A rest stop in the restaurants at the train stations Versam-Safien and/or Valendas-Sagogn can make the route even more enjoyable.
Sicherheitshinweis
Some surefootedness on the singletrail in the area of "La Mutta" (short slightly exposed sections) and down from "Ransun" into the gorge is an advantage.
Only a few drinking water points on the route! Filling up water or stopping for refreshments is especially recommended on hot days, at the latest at the Valendas-Sagogn station.
A well in Ransun (fireplace before going down into the gorge via singletrail). Water filling possible at both train stations (toilets).

Trail running shoes, running backpack, drinks (few water points), depending on the weather wind/rain jacket, sun protection, money as well as half-fare card/general subscription (in case public transport is needed)

From rocksresort Laax Murschetg through the Flimserwald to La Mutta and to the viewpoint "Il Spir" - from there down to Ransun and over the railway bridge Trin Mulin - on the way to Valendas station and Versam station - now back up to Laax Salum and back to rocksresort Laax Murschetg.
