Beschreibung

After the comfortable ride with the aerial cableway to Caischavedra, we start our varied route towards Sedrun.

The path over the Senda Pauli to the viewpoint Plaun Grond (Bostg) is technically demanding and well frequented – consideration for hikers is important here. At the top, a breathtaking panorama of Piz Medel and its glacier awaits us.

The subsequent descent over Mises dil Bostg into Val Bugnei is fluid and enjoyable. The valley, once heavily affected by Storm Vivian, now appears as a lively forest.

At the end of the valley impresses the elegant Bugnei viaduct, a popular postcard motif. Shortly thereafter we reach Sedrun.

From Sedrun several options are open to us: continue sportily on one of the bike routes or leisurely along the hiking trail via Bugnei - Mompé Tujetsch and Segnas to Disentis.

Wegbeschreibung

From the mountain station of the aerial cableway in Caischavedra we follow the signposted route to Piz Plaun Grond (Bostg). Southwards, it continues mostly downhill to the alpine meadows in Mises dil Bostg, where we continue following the signposted routes to the right. In Val Bugnei we reach a forest road. We turn right, then after a few meters again left, after which we end the route on a single trail to Sedrun.
