Beschreibung

The hike starts in Guarda, the Schellen-Ursli village on a sunny terrace high above the Inn. Engadin building culture, goats, local products and the Schellen-Ursli story characterize the village. On a small road, it goes relatively flat to the hamlet of Bos-cha before the path on the same road leads down into the model village of Romansh residential culture, Ardez.

The villages of Guarda and Ardez invite you to an extensive visit with their sgraffito-decorated Engadin houses and village squares with fountains.

  • From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela pass into the Lower Engadin on H27

  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria towards St. Moritz on H27

  • From the south: via Reschen pass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofen pass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27


Guarda can be reached from the Engadin road near Giarsun in 5 minutes by car (10 minutes from Vereina south portal)
