Heidbüel-Tgantieni-Höhenweg

In the world of wonders Lenzerheide, this route runs along the high trail from Heidbüel to Tgantieni. With the Heidbüel panoramic railway, you can comfortably reach the starting point at 1915 m above sea level from Churwalden. From there, it goes more or less flat towards Tgantieni. First, the path gently descends to the Alp Stätz, where native cows are kept during the alpine summer.

Above Alp Lavoz and to Alp Nova, the easy high trail offers a lot of variety – and always an unobstructed view of the Heidsee and the whole valley. It’s worth stopping now and then to look back towards Chur. The view of the opposite Rothorn side is also magnificent. In good visibility, you can observe the lively activity in the Bike Kingdom Park. Cozy spots invite you to linger repeatedly.

Once you arrive in Tgantieni, you can refresh yourself in one of the mountain restaurants before taking the chairlift comfortably back to the village of Lenzerheide. If you want to extend or make the hike more challenging, you can of course skip one or both cable car rides.
