Hirtenleben für Kinder

Monday, 21 & Tuesday, 22 July 2025 – in the morning
For children aged 7 and over / Group size: 4–15 children

On two lively mornings, the children immerse themselves in the world of shepherds and medicinal plants. On Monday, we will carve our own shepherd's crook from a self-cut stick and learn how to use the pocket knife safely. If you want, you can feel small works of art from wool or make a simple veterinary medicine from herbs.

On Tuesday we listen to an old alpine saga and then set off on a short hike with a flock of sheep. The children learn exciting things about life on the alp, the animals and nature.

The workshop will be led by Fabienne Fuhrmann, farmer, remedial teacher and horse trekker, and Flavia Brüesch, organic farmer, playgroup leader and passionate alpine shepherd.

With heart, knowledge of nature and enthusiasm, they accompany the children through two inspiring days.
