From Matt follow the alpine road at the back into the Chrauchtal. Past various alps. From the Stutzhütte steeply up to the Schönbüelfurggl. Now leisurely to Schönegg and slightly descending to the hut.

From Matt you can also take the cable car to the Weissenberge and save a few meters in altitude.
