Igis - Ganda - Landquart

We start our hike at the pretty RhB station Igis. At the bus stop "Kreuz-wiese" we turn left, soon cross the Mühlebach and leave the paved road at the Mühlihof turning right. Soon we discover the first of numerous biotopes along our way to Landquart. Just above the gas station at the Ganda, a beautiful barbecue area invites you to take a break.

Continue to the bridge of the old cantonal road over the Landquart. In earlier times, the small gravel square was home to the Felsenbach RhB station, which served as a railway station for the inhabitants of Valzeina. We turn left, cross under the main road and walk on the way between the Malanser Mühlbach and the RhB-Geleisen to the biotope Dunggelauli. A look at the numerous ponds is worthwhile. There is always something to discover.

At the next fork in the road we keep to the left, cross the railway line and get back to the Landquart. We stay on the right river dam and walk on it to the intersection at Karlihof. Here we change sides, cross under the main road and soon reach the finish line at Landquart station along the left bank.
