You will be amazed at how quickly you immerse yourself in the peaceful mountain world from Ilanz. Only the short, steep section at Crap da Sevgein presents a slightly more difficult part. Otherwise, you move along simple agricultural or hiking paths and enjoy the fantastic views and nature.
The route starts in Ilanz, the first town on the Rhine. You hike along the Glenner and through the idyllic village of Sevgein. Then it goes relatively steeply up to Crap da Sevgein. The strenuous ascent is rewarded with an incredible panoramic view of the Surselva. Then the route continues to the small but lovely village of Riein. After that follows the descent back to Sevgein. Then the route runs back to Ilanz along the Glenner river.
