Jenaz (726 m) is spread over various terraces, which were formed by glaciers and rivers during the Ice Age and represent a scenic feature in Prättigau. Jenaz is often referred to as the "jewel of Prättigaus". This refers to the old part of the village.

The municipality is divided into two village sections: Jenaz and the Pragg-Jenaz fraction. The beautifully decorated old knitted houses with many house sayings in the village centre of Jenaz and in Pragmartin are striking. Above all, "ds Platzhus", one of the largest and most stately wooden houses in Prättigau, catches the eye.
