Beschreibung

From the Maiensäss settlement Chants, head towards the Kesch Hut up to 2625m above sea level. Once at the top, enjoy a unique view of the Porchabella Glacier and Piz Kesch. The hiking trail continues into Val dal Tschüvel up to the Sertig Pass junction. Before the ascent towards the pass, the trail passes by the beautiful Ravais-ch lakes, which invite you to take a break. The return route goes through Val Ravais-ch, where you will encounter sheep herds in summer. As a conclusion, you can treat yourself to a cool drink at the Piz Kesch mountain lodge.

The Bus alpin runs from Bergün train station to Chants and back. You can find the timetable here.  Please note that the bus must be reserved at least 1 hour in advance.

The starting point to Tuors is Bergün. In a northeasterly direction, the side valley of the Albula Valley stretches for about 7 kilometers to Chants, where it divides into two further side valleys. To the Val da Ravais-ch and Val Plazbi. Up to the Ravais-ch - lakes you climb another 5 kilometers; to the very back of Plazbi at the foot of the imposing Piz Üertsch there are still about 4 kilometers from Chants.
