Kleines Rheinründali: Ilanz-Rueun-Polenweg-Ilanz (Gravel)

Shortly after you cross the Rhine, the stress of everyday life falls away. On quiet forest roads you drive past the villages of Strada and Schnaus. In Schnaus there is an old Schmitte, where the well-known Schnauser ploughs were produced until the 1970s. Even the King of Bhutan owns one of them.

After a short, steep ramp and an easy-to-ride single trail, you cross the Rhine again below Rueun, this time over the oldest covered wooden bridge in the canton of Graubünden.

Then it's time to roll out and enjoy. In the old town of Ilanz there is still time for a coffee or a little window shopping.
