Beschreibung

From Disentis train station, we walk along the lightly used driveable road to Cavardiras, a picturesque village still inhabited year-round. We switch onto a natural road that leads us in wide bends to the Maiensässen of Caischavedra. Here begins the single trail, which requires some caution when crossing the brooks Dargun da Pardomat and Dargun da Falens. Because Dargun means dragon in German: and like dragons, these two otherwise rather harmless mountain brooks can behave after heavy rainfalls. The Lag da Laus lies turquoise-colored in a hollow, surrounded by meadows and forest. Those needing a refreshment can cool off in the clear water, which even in midsummer does not reach bathtub temperature.

At the eastern end of the lake, we follow the hiking trail downhill to Laus, which still counts a few inhabitants. From Falens, we cross a shady alder forest and return over the districts Pardomat, Madernal, and Disla to the starting point.

For the last "push" from Brulf to Disentis, we must mobilize the last reserves.

The path is diverted in the area of Dargun da Pardomat. Status July 2022

Geheimtipp

Tip from Nina Zoller: Don’t forget your swimwear in summer – in October, bring some time and listen to the roaring of the stags at Lag da Laus!

Wegbeschreibung

From Disentis, we follow the hiking trail towards Brulf and Cavardiras. Here, the marked hiking trail, which mostly runs along a driveable road, branches off to the Maiensässen Caischavedra. After the Maiensässen, we turn east onto a hiking trail to Lag da Laus. After the lake, a hiking trail continues east until we meet a driveable road again, which we follow to the small village of Laus. From Laus, turn off onto the hiking trail to Sumvitg. In Falens, we turn onto a driveable road heading west that leads to Pardomat Dadens. Here, we cross the Rhine. At Madernal, we turn further left onto a hiking trail that ends in Disla. Along the Rhine, we walk on a driveable road to Brulf and further to Disentis train station.
