Lake Calvaresc is known to hikers in the Southern Alps as "the little heart-shaped lake". This is due to the fact that this beautiful body of water takes on its silhouette from the path coming from the north and casts a spell over the viewer.

You can start from Soazza or Rossa. The two stops of the reference PostBus are Soazza, Stazión and Rossa, Villaggio
Anfahrt
The ascent to Lake Calvaresc is possible from the two valleys Mesolcina and Calanca.
From Mesolcina: follow the road that leads from Soazza to Bec, and from here continue on foot towards the Pass de Buffalora. A visit to the hut of the same name is recommended. From the buffalora pass follow the path to Alp de Calvaresc Sora and Lagh de Calvaresc.
From Calanca: from Rossa follow one of the two paths that leads to Alp de Calvaresc Sot, and from here go up the steep path that leads to Alp de Calvaresc Sora and Lagh de Calvaresc. To reduce the slope of the path it is recommended to stop at Capanna Buffalora and take the path that leads to Alp de Calvaresc Sora from there.
