Created as a reservoir for artificial snow, Lake Lai Catrina is a new meeting place for mountain hikers.
Take a break and dive into the cool, refreshing water on hot days. A wooden walkway makes it easier for you to get in and a fence is appropriate for non-swimmers. So: Into the tingling pleasure
Pack something nice to grill in your backpack - right on the lake there is a well-equipped fire pit (with firewood) and two solid wooden tables.
The lake can be reached on foot in 30 minutes from the mountain station in Caischavedra.
