Beschreibung
From Davos, the route leads along the Landwasser via the Walser villages of Davos: Davos Frauenkirch, Glaris and Wiesen to Tiefencastel. It's worth stopping in Davos Wiesen to take in the breathtaking mountain scenery and the Tinzenhorn, also known as the Little Matterhorn due to its shape, should not be missing from your photo box. From Tiefencastel, the road winds up to Lenzerheide, full of bends and views. If you need to cool off here, you can choose a nice spot along the Heidsee lake before heading back downhill to Chur, the capital of Graubünden. In the Chur Rhine Valley, you pass the traditional wine villages of Trimmis, Zizers and Igis until you reach the junction town of Landquart. At Landquart, the route leads through the Prättigau with the impressive Rätikoner mountain ranges high above Klosters back to Davos.
Geheimtipp
If you want to stretch your legs with a short hike on the tour, there are many different options from Saas via Schlappin to Klosters along the 40-kilometre Wildmännli Trail with seven stages and 50 posts. The paths run along existing hiking and themed trails and have been digitized with a web app.
Or take a break at the Gotschna restaurant in Klosters before the ascent to Davos and enjoy the sun on the beautiful terrace.
