The viewing platform, named after Friedrich Hennings, the chief engineer of the Albula Line, offers a spectacular view of the Landwasser Viaduct and the surrounding landscape. It is located above the tunnel after the Schmittentobel viaduct and allows a view of passing trains.The platform can be reached from the "Schmitten GR Landwasser Viaduct" stop via a well-developed path in just five minutes. You can also walk to the platform from the Landwasser Viaduct (15 minutes), the car park (25 minutes), Schmitten Dorf (40 minutes) and Filisur train station (50 minutes).

Take the Rhaetian Railway, RhB to Filisur.
Anreise Information
From Chur on the A13 motorway, Thusis Süd motorway exit, E43 in the direction of the Albual Pass, to the PP Landwasser Viaduct just before Filisur.

Landwasser Viaduct car park just before Filisur.
The number of parking spaces is limited and guests are advised to use the Alvaneu Bad or Filisur train station car parks.
Camping not allowed.
