Beschreibung
Starting from Langwies Train Station, you begin the walk through the village and then uphill through the Fondei valley to Skihaus Casanna. Then it continues over lush green plateaus up to Blackter Fürggli. This is followed by a crossing that has been used for centuries and connects the alp pastures and higher settlements. Over the ridge you reach Mattjischhorn, the highest point of the hike. Follow the path down via Pirigen and the high valley of Fondei until you reach the starting point Langwies again.

Langwies is located on the RhB railway line Chur - Arosa. Trains run hourly in both directions.
Anreise Information
From Chur, follow the traffic signs towards Arosa. Langwies is directly on the cantonal road and cannot be missed.
