Latsch

The hamlet of Latsch is located on a hilltop above Bergün/Bravuogn at approx. 1,590 m above sea level in the upper Albula Valley. Structurally, the village still looks very closed and authentic. Only in the 1960s were a few holiday homes built. The place was the backdrop for the Swiss films "Heidi" (1952) and "Heidi and Peter" (1955). Latsch also served as a backdrop for the 2014 remake of "Heidi". The villagescape of Laces has been awarded the title of "townscape of national importance".
