Beschreibung
Like many other mountain valleys, the Safiental also has a rich and diverse treasure of legends and stories. Legends are not just fairy tales. Although these orally transmitted stories sometimes also appear in other valleys, they always have a direct connection to the landscape and therefore a special significance.
Ten illustrated panels point to the legends at the place of the events. Anyone who looks around a bit will then understand why, for example, there are so many stones in the Bächer Forest or can imagine the Wättermannli on Camana very well.

There are two different but important companions for the legend trail.
For reading: You use the little legend book as a companion on the legend trail and read the legends in the Walser dialect or in written language. The respective illustrations for the legends can also be colored in by children themselves.
The little legend book costs CHF 10.–. You can get it at the following sales points:

Sicherheitshinweis
If the weather conditions are uncertain, the route should not be undertaken. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar develops during the hike, you should turn back in time.
Ausrüstung
Good hiking shoes with a good grip, weather-appropriate clothing (rain jacket), possibly change of clothes, first aid kit, drink, food, possibly hiking sticks.
