Loipe Garfiun

The Bündelti Schoolhouse, reachable by post bus from Klosters Platz in ten minutes, is the starting point of the route. From there, the cross-country ski trail leads to Schwäderloch, from where a beautiful route along the river to Prästenboden follows. After crossing the bridge there, the path leads to Alp Novai, where the circular route on the open area is very inviting.  Shortly after, Garfiun is reached. In the rustic alpine hut, located about five minutes' walk from the ski trail, Grisons specialties are served. The route then leads downhill along the rushing Landquart. After another crossing, Baretschrüti is reached, from where the same path leads back to the original Walser village of Monbiel. From there, it is only downhill until you reach the Bündelti Schoolhouse again.
