Beschreibung

Shortly after the start, you first pass the Openair Lumnezia area before continuing downhill on a singletrail to Peiden Bad. From there, the long and pleasant climb towards Vrin begins. Shortly before Silgin, you cross the suspension bridge over the Val da Silgin, which is an impressive 67 meters long and 45 meters high. The route continues up to the award-winning wakker village of Vrin.  Over the Senda Lumneziana, some exciting single trails lead to Lumbrein, the starting point of the Lumnezia bike marathon. From there, you follow country roads and trails to the Davos Munts bathing lake and, after a refreshing dip, back to Vella.

Sicherheitshinweis

In Vrin, Lumbrein, Uors or Davos Munts, you can charge your e-mountain bike at the charging station.

The tour should not be undertaken in uncertain weather conditions. Weather changes are frequent in the mountains. If a rain front or similar is approaching during the hike, you should turn back in good time.

From the Grisons cantonal capital of Chur, the Rhaetian Railway takes just 36 minutes through the spectacular Rhine Gorge to Ilanz station. Then take the Postbus line 90.441 Ilanz - Vrin to the Vella, Posta stop.

Take the A13 to Reichenau, then the main road 19 via Flims to Ilanz and then to Vella.
