Beschreibung
The Maighelshütte is located at the foot of the Piz Cavradi, in the middle of a popular ski touring area and is easily accessible from the Oberalp Pass or from Tschamut. There is nothing better than reminiscing about the day's experiences in a warm hut or spending the night in the mountains. The young, motivated hut warden couple Nora & Mauro also like to spoil the day guests with food and drink.
The hut can be reached with touring skis or snowshoes. Safety equipment required.
Ascent from the Oberalp Pass: approx. 2 hours (descent to Alp Milez)
Ascent from Tschamut: approx. 2.5 - 3 hours (Avalanche-prone slopes above Tschamut!)

By train from Lucerne via Andermatt to the Oberalp Pass. Or from Zurich via Chur to Oberalp Pass.

By car from Lucerne to Andermatt with train ride to Oberalppass. Or from Zurich via Chur to Tschamut, by train to Oberalp Pass
Parken
Andermatt: Day parking or multi-storey car park. (subject to a fee)
Tschamut: In front of the closed pass road along the road. (toll-free)
