Maloja - Alp da Cavloc - Forno Hut SAC

From Maloja, the hiking trail rises to Lagh da Cavloc and further on to Alp da Cavloc. Through the distinctive hilly landscape to Plan Canin, where the path branches off to the Muretto Pass. Further through the wild Forno Valley, you reach the forefield of the Forno Glacier over scree fields. After a steep climb over the moraine on the left side, you reach the Forno Hut on the path high above the valley and over rock and stone.

The return route is either the same way or passes under the Pizzi dei Rossi into the Val Muretto.
