This easy trail running route around the lake Sils is ideal for anyone taking their first steps in trail running or looking for a route without major technical difficulties and altitude differences.

Geheimtipp

Every year in September, the Maloja Lake Run takes place: once around Lake Sils on unique trails on the lakeshore and with a view of Lake Sils. Can be completed as an individual race or as a 2-person relay race, it's best to register right here: maloja-seelauf.ch

Wegbeschreibung

Starting from Maloja you run along the lake past Camping Maloja and Isola to Sils. Keep running along the lakeside, you reach than Sils Baselgia, where you have to cross the cantonal road. From here the route continues along the Via Engiadina, passing the Grevasalvas, Blanca and Pila mountain pastures before returning to Maloja.
