Beschreibung

An easy route that mainly runs on unpaved roads with little traffic. The former Alp Pet Preir offers a great view of Lake Sils and the opposite mountain massif.
From Sils it goes along the lake back to Maloja. Here in Maloja is also the starting point of the Inn bike path.

Those who want it more challenging can extend the route between Pet Preir and Sils via the Val Fex (total then 27 km and about 550 meters of elevation - closed in winter from December 20 to April 30).
Alternatively, the entire Upper Engadin cycling network also opens up from Sils.

Please note: From 27 October 2025 to 31 March 2026, the route between Sils and Isola will be diverted due to construction work. Please follow the signs on site.

From Capolago you ride past Maloja Camping towards Isola. At the junction before Isola, turn right, uphill towards Val Fedoz to Alpe Cad'Starnam and then to Pet Preir. From Pet Preir follow the signposted path to Sils.
