Beschreibung

You hike between the Maschgenkamm panorama restaurant and the mountain station of the Arven chairlift, around the panorama restaurant. For the first 250 m, a steep path leads down 60 metres in altitude to the Maschgenlücke restaurant. We recommend taking hiking poles with you. The next few metres are shared with the alpine athletes until the winter hiking trail turns off to the left. With a view of the Spitzmeilen area, the hiking trail leads over a small hill on which it is worth stopping briefly to enjoy the wonderful panorama. The trail continues through a quiet forest area and at the junction you choose the right path, on the left it leads to Prodalp. The trail then descends gently to the plain where the Panüöl alpine restaurant is located. From here you can continue hiking to Alp Fursch, to Prodalp or take the 6-seater chairlift back to the Maschgenkamm.

Geheimtipp

There are very steep sections from the Maschgenkamm towards Panüöl. It is therefore also possible to take the chairlift.

Ausrüstung

Normal winter hiking equipment, sturdy shoes. Hiking poles are recommended.

Travel by train to Unterterzen and up with the Unterterzen - Tannenboden cable car

Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke and change to the S4 to Unterterzen

Daily from St. Gallen with the S4 directly to Unterterzen

Daily from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt and change to bus 444 to Unterterzen

From Unterterzen, the 8-seater cable car takes you directly to the Flumserberg to the Tannenboden LUFAG valley station.

Travel by train to Flums and Postbus to Flumserberg Tannenboden

Daily to Flums or Sargans, continue by bus 441 in the direction of Flumserberg to the Tannenboden cable car stop.

Then take the cable car to the Maschgenkamm.

Anreise Information

Take the highway exit Flums/Flumserberg and follow the main road in the direction of Flumserberg Tannenboden. Then take the gondola lift to the Maschgenkamm.

Parken

Public parking spaces available at Tannenboden.

The parking lots are chargeable from 07.00 to 17.00. From 17.00 to 02.00 we are allowed to leave the car free of charge.

After 02.00 to 07.00 there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of parking spaces at night in the Tannenboden parking garage or in the Tannenheim.

The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
