At Mittelberg, enjoy the beautiful view of the opposite valley side with Piz Danis and Stätzerhorn, take a short break and then continue. From there, it gets challenging repeatedly, but the varied terrain and the view are worth it. In Capfeders, a wonderful view of Chur and the Rhine Valley awaits. Benches invite you to soak up the sun and enjoy the tranquility. On the way back, you can admire the mountain world surrounding you again, as it mostly goes downhill now. The route to Mittelberg flies by.

Wegbeschreibung

You can reach Mittelberg from the Parpan Heimberg parking lot only on foot or with cross-country skis.

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

You arrive by train to Chur. From there, you can reach Parpan by post bus within 25 minutes (post bus stop: Parpan Post).

From there, you reach the trail entrance on foot.

From Basel and Zurich - Chur-South (Exit No. 17) - Parpan.

From Milan - Lugano - San Bernardino Tunnel - Thusis - Chur-South (Lenzerheide exit) - Parpan.
