The Mittenberg is a classic among the bike tours in Chur. And this descent is the trail classic. After a brilliant start, the ascent road is crossed and the trail fun continues. After a short section on a forest path, the freeride variant on the Mittenberg follows with rapid turns and a few jumps. The final follows after a short ascent and traverse back to the Fürstenwald.

The Mittenberg is the typical after-work mountain of Chur. Many locals come here after work, which can make the trails quite crowded. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you should come here either in the morning or in the early afternoon.
