Monte Laura, a district of Roveredo, located in the Swiss Alps at 1400 meters above sea level, is, thanks to its wonderful hiking trails, an ideal destination for mountain and nature lovers. In recent years, Laura has also increasingly become an insider tip for mountain bikers.
Monte Laura is comprised of about 100 cottages, inhabited only in the summer for all practical pur-poses, a summer camp center, the former Hotel Laura and the restaurant La Bola as well as a mountain hut named "La Colonia”.
In July and August Hotel Laura and "La Colonia" accommodate youths who take part in summer camps.
Monte Laura is accessible from Roveredo via a 11km long, narrow forest road.
Bus line from north and south, bus stop at Roveredo Posta, where a special bus runs in the morning and in the evening to Hotel Laura.
