Beschreibung

The path leads from Maienberg through beautiful forests, over green meadows and gentle mountain streams along the Weisstannen Valley down to Wangs. The starting point can be easily reached with the gondola lift of Pizolbahnen in Wangs.

Geheimtipp

Variant for uphill: from Wangs via Fontanix up to Hienzi and further to Gampidells.

The route runs over differently used sections; please be considerate of other path users.

Recommended equipment:


Bike:
- Advantageous to have a fully-suspended (e-)mountain bike (fully)
- However, also easily possible with a bike with front suspension only

- Knee and elbow pads advantageous for the descent
- Service materials for breakdowns, air pump, bicycle tools, patch kit

Wegbeschreibung

From Maienberg, the mid-station of the gondola lift of Pizolbahnen in Wangs, a well-signposted path leads us via Gampidalls to Ochsensäss (Ebenwald). The forest trail continues to Untergamidaur, Oberprecht, and Unterprecht. From there, an alpine road leads down to Hienzi and then to Wangs.

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

By train to Sargans, then by bus to the Wangs bus stop, Pizolbahn directly at the valley station Wangs. From there, by gondola lift to Maienberg.

Anreise Information

Motorway exit Sargans, then follow the signs to the valley station of the Pizolbahnen in Wangs.

Parken

Public parking available at the valley station Bad Ragaz (paid).
