The natural ice rink in Safien Platz is located behind the school building. It is also used by schoolchildren during breaks and occasionally as a sports activity during gym class.

The ice rink is available for free skating in the morning and for hockey games in the afternoon. On Tuesday evenings, the rink is reserved for the men's hockey game from 8:15 PM onwards.
