Night ski touring piste Pizol

While the night skiers and sledders enjoy fast descents further down (between Furt and Maienberg), the marked piste Furt-Gaffia is accessible for ski tourers. The start is at Furt, which is conveniently reached by the Wangs gondola lift. From there, about 311 meters of vertical ascent await you up to the Mugghütte at 1,833 m above sea level. At the destination, you will be rewarded with views of the snowy winter landscape and a stunning sea of lights high above the Rhine Valley. The descent is on the regular piste. The night ski touring piste at Pizol is the ideal combination of training, nature experience, and views.

During night skiing and sledding, when the night ski touring piste is accessible, several restaurants at Furt are open in the evening.

We start the route at Furt, the mountain station of the Wangs gondola lift. From there we walk uphill on piste 6 (Gaffia - Furt). The Furt-Gaffia chairlift is always to our right until we pass under the lift and after a while reach the Berghotel Gaffia. We walk around the large stone building and continue climbing up to the Mugghütte.
