OGNACUSTICA – Gala Concert with Christoph Sietzen in Trun

Christoph Sietzen, the well-known marimba and percussion artist, will give a solo concert in the OGNA sculpture on July 19, 2025 on the occasion of Matias Spescha's 100th birthday. Like many musicians before him, he is also fascinated by the unique sound of this open space. Like no other, he will explore the acoustic peculiarities of the monumental concrete building consisting of two shifted semicircles – both with the large marimba and with his impressive installation of percussion instruments developed by himself.

In the concert, Matias Spescha's musical inclinations from Bach to jazz, but also modern classics such as Séjourné or the minimal music of Philip Glass will be introduced, which in its abstraction fits perfectly with the work of art being played.
